Unlike wall-to-wall carpeting, oriental rugs cannot be cleaned properly inside a home. Oriental rugs must be brought into our store where they can be cleaned using specialized equipment and products then allowed to dry. Oriental rugs are typically made with fine, dyed fibers, such as wool, cotton, and silk, that are more delicate than the kind of fibers found in wall-to-wall carpeting. When these fibers are cleaned at home, particularly with common chemicals and cleaning equipment, there is a tendency for the dye colors to bleed. At Fargo-Hanna, we protect your rugs using only industry-leading cleaning solutions and washing equipment. - Professional Repair Services
Fargo-Hanna also offers limited repair and restoration services at the discretion of the owner. Typical repair services include new fringe to repair bindings, fixing small tears, and limited sewing work. Please contact us to see if we might be able to help.
- Pick-up and Delivery Service
We offer pick-up and delivery service if you are unable to bring in your rug for cleaning and repair. Please contact us to quote your pick-up/delivery fee based on distance and location.
Otherwise, please feel free to drop-off your rug at our store during normal business hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 10am - 5pm.
